Tamworth will book a trip to League Two side Rochdale if they can overcome Notts County in their fourth qualifying round replay on Tuesday night.

The Lambs held firm to deny the National League side at The Lamb on Saturday afternoon and head to Meadow Lane tomorrow night looking to reach the first round for the first time since the 2013/14 season.

Wes Morgan pulled Tamworth out of the hat as the away side meaning they will head to Spotland on the weekend of Saturday 6 November and Sunday 7 November.

Rochdale, managed by former Middlesbrough defender Robbie Stockdale are currently struggling in League Two in 17th place after being relegated from League One last season.

But the Lambs have to see off Notts County before any talk of a trip to Rochdale.

Joint boss Gary Smith reckons it’s all about having belief once again.

He said: “It’s something we’ve been discussing all week. Andy was drilling it into the boys on Thursday night at training about having some belief that we could go out there and match them and get on the ball and play to our strengths.

“I thought we caused them problems in certain patches of the game so it’s about belief again and having that hunger and desire to succeed again.

“We will be pumping belief into the boys again ahead of Tuesday’s game and hope that we can carry a couple of thousand fans with us as well to give us that extra support.”
