All the details as Tamworth await FA Cup first round draw

Tamworth find out who they could face in the FA Cup first round proper on Sunday lunchtime.

The draw will take place live on ITV1, starting at 1.05pm.

After forcing Notts County to a replay on Saturday, the Lambs will be in the hat along with 48 teams from League One and League Two who enter the competition at this stage.

They will also be joined by fellow Southern League side Banbury, who beat Bath City, and Stratford who took Boston United to a replay.

The first round ties will take place over the weekend of Saturday 6 November and Sunday 7 November with the winners of the ties bagging £22,629 if they manage to win.

If Tamworth progress on Tuesday night, it will be their best FA Cup run since the 2013/14 season when they made it to the second round proper, eventually losing to Bristol City.

Previous to that, the Lambs had a dream run to the third round in 2011/12 when they bagged a money-spinning trip to Goodison Park to face Everton.

The Lambs will be ball number 62 in the draw.
