Gary Smith reckons Prince Mancinelli can offer a bit of everything to Tamworth for the the coming season.
Mancinelli was previously with Basford United and Stapleford Town.
The 20-year-old midfielder has now signed for the Lambs after impressing in pre-season training.
Smith believes ‘monster’ Mancinelli will quickly win over the fans with his work rate.
“We’ve had him in and looked at him over pre-season and he’s done enough to show us he’s someone we’d like to keep around the club,” Smith said.
“I thought I had a physique, but he’s got an absolutely monster physique for a 19-year-old. He can play. He’s big, strong, physical and he likes to travel with the ball. He’s got an eye for a pass and an eye for goal himself.
“With him being so young, he’s someone who we believe could be at this football club for a number of years. He’s young so he’s still learning, but you can see the graft and the will to do well is there.
“He goes out and gives it everything and you can’t ask for more than that. He can do a little bit of both sides of the game in midfield.
“He can do the attacking side but he’s strong and doesn’t mind getting involved defensively and putting a challenge in and putting himself about.”
