Tamworth have learned when they will be back in action should the national lockdown end as planned on December 2.
The Southern League sent questionnaires to clubs for their view on when the season should begin again following the halt in play.
Of the clubs who responded, 59% voted for an ideal start date of Saturday 12 December.
The league have now confirmed that date will be when they officially restart proceedings – but they have also said clubs can arrange fixtures to be played the week before on Saturday 5 December, if they wish.
Fixtures missed throughout the second lockdown will be rearranged, with the season end date of Saturday 8 May as previously planned.
Tamworth have home games with Banbury United and Bromsgrove Sporting scheduled for December 5 and December 8 respectively – but the club haven’t confirmed if they plan to play these fixtures on the originally scheduled dates.
If Tamworth were to restart their season on December 12, they would get back underway with a trip to Redditch United.
