Former Tamworth loan star Jack Concannon has signed a fresh one-year deal with SkyBet Championship side Birmingham City.
The 20-year-old winger dazzled Lambs fans during his stint in Staffordshire during the season before last.
Joint boss Gary Smith tipped the youngster to have a bright future in the game upon him leaving The Lamb.
“He’s loved playing for us and we wish him all the best in the future. The door would always be open for him to come back,” Smith told Birmingham Live at the time.
“He’s been a fantastic player for us, someone with a great attitude and appetite for the game.
“He will go on now and play higher – he has earned the right to do that. I think he will only get better from this point.”
In a statement on Birmingham City’s official website, it was confirmed that Concannon, who made his senior Blues debut in the FA Cup last season, had signed a one-year extension.
